Park Residents
» Leopard, gaur, banteng, deer, monkeys, white-handed gibbons are some mammals living in the Park.

» More than 60 species of birds reside in the Park including Coppersmits Barbets, Oriental Pied Hornbills, Tickell's Blue, Francolin, Red-Flydatchers.

» A special Park resident is the 'barking tree frog'. It's croak resembles a dog's bark.

Tour Attractions
Apart from animal and bird life, the main attractions of the Park are Tham Lod Noi Cave and Tham Lod Yai Cave:

Tham Lod Noi Cave
This 300 meters cave is studded with impressive stalactites. The small stream inside makes the air cool and pleasant.

Tham Lod Yai Cave
Tham Lod Yai Cave Located at a distance of 2 km away from it's sister, the cave is an ancient graveyard, for weapons and skeletons have been found in it. And the stream is also there.

In addition to these caves, Than Thong, Than Ngoen, and Trai Trueng waterfalls are in the area of the park.

Topography & Vegetation
Most part of the Park is covered by dry evergreen forest, while some is occupied by bamboo forest. The Park has undulating land, consisting complicated limestone mountains. The highest peak is Kam Pang Mountain Peak, which is 1,260 meters tall. The mountainous area of the Park is also the watershed of Mae Klong river.

» This is Thailand's 17th National Park sprawling over an area of 59 square kilometers.
» The Park was designated the status of National Park in 1980.

How To Reach
The Park is located at the distance of about 96 kilometers from Kanchanaburi town. Drive. Drive, preferably on a four-wheeled vehicle, to Nong Pru district, and then to Ban Tha Lamyat. An unmetalled road takes to the Park headquarters.
