Apart from the home of animals and birds, Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park is also a historical battle ground, where the conflicts of ideology took place.
Political Military School, Lan Hin Taek, Pha Chuthong Cliff and Lan Hin Pum are some monuments of historical legacy in the Park, which was used by the communist activists as their refuge.
Topography
The Park is covered with evergreen forests and a vast plain of rock with cracks all around. The Park is known for it's unusual rock formations. The landscape is dotted with deep crevices, but at some places, huge boulders provide a sharp contrast. The combination of tropical greenery and strange rocks seems interesting to the tourists.

How To Reach
Take Phitsanulok-Lomsak Highway. At about Km. 68 turn left. Move on for a distance of 24 kms. Then turn right and keep moving for another 31 kms.
Phitsanulok, the capital of the eponymous province, is about 377 kilometers from capital Bangkok. It can be reached by road, rail or air.
