Tour Attractions
The Park provides wonderful natural vistas from dawn to dusk. The most beautiful sight can be witnessed at Pha Nok Aen, a cliff which provides breathtaking view of sunrise. Wild roses along the path to Pha Nok Aen are very refreshing. Pha Lom Sak is another place of tourist interest, famous for fabulous sunset. Tourists can enjoy 50 km of marked trails slicing through cliffs, meadows and waterfalls. Incredible variety of flowers lend the Park a fragrant smell.
Most prominent among the Park attractions are Wang Kwang waterfall, Khun Thong Waterfall and Phenphop Fall.
Topography & Vegetation
The Park is located atop the rolling hills. Phu Kradung, the tallest hill in the Park and the province, has possibly received it's name Phu Kradueng from it's shape, which is like bell. The word kradung means bell in Thai. Most portion of the Park is inundated by evergreen forests and seasonal tropical rainforests. Pine, beech and oak trees are very common in the Park.

Climate
Most appropriate time to visit the Park is October to March. Rainy season ends in October, while in March, the hot season begins. There is rush of visitors from December to mid-January.
How To Reach
Various means of reaching the National Park are given below:
By Road
Buses for Pha Kradung operate from the North-Eastern Bus Terminal in Bangkok. One can also hire a car. If wanting to reach the Park from Loei, drive along the Khon Kaen-Loei Highway.
By Train
Trains leave for Khon Kaen Province from Hua Lampong Railway Station of Bangkok daily. From Khon Kaen, board a bus for Loei. Then take a mini-bus for reaching the Park.
Accommodation & Dining
Bungalows and campsites are available in the Park. Several stalls sell food, beverages and other necessary products.
