» Khun Kitti, the world's smallest mammal, is now only found in Sai Yok National Park. 2.5 - 3.0 centimeters long, 1.5 - 2.0 grams weight and with 10 centimeters of wingspan, it resides in the caves.

Profusely praised in Thai literature, the idyllic waterfall flows from cliffs into Kwai Noi River. 38 km north of the Park entrance, the waterfall is very popular among the locals, and is brimming with the tourists and picnickers on the weekends and holidays.
Sai Yok Noi Waterfall
Famous for it's idyllic beauty, Sai Yok Noi Waterfall is considered among the most charming places in the country. Crystal clear water falling from fabulous height over rocks definitely provides succor to the eyes.
20 km from Sai Yok Waterfall, Lawa Cave seems playing hide-and-seek with the visitors. The mouth is narrow, but the inner part of the cave is spacious and there are plenty of impressive stalagmites and stalactites to see. And Khun Kitti!
Kwae Noi River
The river itself is a good tourist attraction. It's banks are nice for enjoying time to the fullest. A dive in it's cool waters provide complete relaxation after loads of sightseeing and other activities.
Topography & Vegetation
The Park has hilly terrain carpeted by deciduous forests, dry evergreen forests and bamboo forests. There is a teak forest too along the river. The hills are mostly composed of limestone and run in north-south direction.

Winter, from late November to February, is the most suitable time to visit the Park. The lively and powerful waterfalls, wearing mist-gown, amidst verdant surroundings look fabulous. The Park receives heave rain in rainy season, especially between May and October.
How To Reach
The Park is accessible both by roat and rail. One can move on Kanchanaburi Town-Thong Pha Phum to km marker 97. Then take left turn and keep on driving till the headquarters. As for the train, one should alight at Sai Yok Noi station and then board a local bus to the Park.
Bungalows and campsites can be availed in the Park. Facilities like information bereau, raft houses and food shops are also available.
