nice place for the lovers of animals and birds, Sri Satchanalai National
Park is located in the vicinity of Sukhothai Park. Home to more than seventy
species of birds, the Park also presents many other attractions like
waterfalls, caves and vantage points. The Park provides an interesting tour

Tour Attractions
The beautiful 300-acre National Park has lovely flowers, fabulous greenery and prolific wildlife. The Park is home to over 70 recorded bird species. One of the main attractions of the Park is Tad Dao- a 40 meter high waterfall. Wang Chang, one of the highest peaks in the Park, offers some spectacular views of the Park.
Topography
The
park has hilly undulating terrain. High mountains covered with tropical
forests provide an ideal habitat to the wild animals. Beautiful waterfalls
and brooks intersperse the mountains, boosting their attraction. There are

By Air
Nearest airport Amphur Sawankhalok, is approximately 30 kms from Sukhothai town. Air services are available to and from Chiang Mai and capital Bangkok.
By Train
Trains run between Bangkok to Phitsanulok, nearest railway station. Then you can take a bus for Sukhotai.
By Road
Buses are available between Bangkok and Sukhotai. Buses can also be taken for tourist destinations of Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Khon Kaen. You can also hire a car for reaching the National Park.
From Sukhothai town, you can take local buses and songathews to reach the Park.
Getting Around
You can use bicycles and motorbikes to move around the Park.
Accommodation & Dining
A small bungalow providing accommodation for few people is available. As for dining, don't expect five-star variety. One does not go to the jungle for delicious dishes. However, good facilities are available in Sukhothai town.
