The Site
The historic park has hundred plus sets of ruins including pagodas, gateways, kilns, moats and much more similar structures. Within the wall are the remains of many monuments, chief among whom are Wat Chang Lom, Wat Chedi Chet Thaew, and Wat Nang Phaya. Wat Chang Lom is known for the sculptures of tall elephants supporting it's base. Wat Chedi Chet Thaew is a large compound containing seven rows of chedis. Wat Nang Phaya is also known for it's fabulos architecture.
How To Reach
Si Satchanalai is hour-long journey from Sukhothai. One can reach Sukhothai and then go on an excursion to Si Satchanalai Historical Park.
